Mark A. Jacobs, a founding shareholder, who completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in accounting. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1976 from the New England School of Law and has been a member in good standing of the Florida Bar since October, 1976. He has been designated as an“AV” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell which is the highest possible peer rating in legal ability and ethical standards. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court (Florida Southern District). Since 2006, Mr. Jacobs has been certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Certified Circuit and County Civil Mediator.. Mr. Jacobs is a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, Attorneys’ Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company. He has documented and closed on behalf of lenders and borrowers real estate transactions of all types including commercial and residential. Mr. Jacobs’ transactional practice has included corporate financing, lines of credit and borrowing based transactions again having represented both lenders and borrowers. In addition to his litigation and real estate practice, Mr. Jacobs is familiar with estate planning, drafting of estate documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care surrogate and living wills. The estate practice also entails estate administration for the probate of estates and guardianship practice. Eric A. Jacobs is the founding partner of Jacobs / Offir, P.L. and has extensive and diverse legal and business experience.  He is an experieced civil litigator in all aspects of civil litigation from personal injury to complex commercial disputes and is a board certified real estate legal exper.   Mr. Jacobs practices state-wide but focuses most of his efforts in South Florida area where his officeis located.  Mr. Jacobs has written numerous articles and been interviewed for numerous publications.  Mr. Jacobs was recenly named Entrepeneur of the Year for the City of Hollywood, Florida and the State of Florida and has taken pride in extensive public service in the community.  Mr. Jacobs sits on the City of Hollywood Devlopment Review Board and is a former member of the City of Hollywood Community Development Advisory Board and City of Hollywood Education Advisory Committee.  He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida International University and earned his joint Juris Doctor / Master's Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

A graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, Melinda received her Juris Doctorate with honors, at the top of her the course of her law school studies, Melinda worked to represent low-income clients in family law matters as a certified legal intern with the Florida Supreme Court. It was in this role that Melinda realized her passion for helping others through her extensive knowledge of the law, and where she established a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others throughout the course of her career.. Her drive for success didn’t start there. Growing up the daughter in an Italian family with a real estate business of their own in Montreal, Melinda had a first-hand look into what being an entrepreneur really meant. It was these learning lessons that proved invaluable to Melinda’s future, and solidified her desire to succeed. Her initial leap into the world of law was driven by the notion of receiving a law degree to be able to help with her family’s Real Estate business – one that filled her with passion and purpose. The very first in her family to graduate college and no stranger to hard work, when Melinda was asked as a child what she aspired to be, she always insisted she would be her own boss. And her own boss she became – the best way for Melinda to continue building on her passions as an attorney, while balancing family life and motherhood..
