Brant Stogner grew up in El Campo, Texas - a small town about an hour southwest of Houston. In high school, Brant excelled at both athletics and academics. Brant graduated in the top ten percent of his high school class; in sports, Brant and the Ricebirds won six district championships in football and baseball during his three years starting on varsity. In college, Brant's academic success continued. After playing two seasons, and having three surgeries in as many years, Brant decided to hang up his football cleats and transfer to Texas A&M University to complete his business degree. In College Station, Brant's scholastic accolades continued to mount. Brant was a member of numerous honor societies and graduated in the top ten percent of his class with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.. Born and raised in Houston, Turner is a first-generation college graduate, obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston Downtown and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Turner served in several student leadership positions and as a student attorney in the school’s civil law clinic, where he gained valuable experience helping indigent clients who could not otherwise afford legal representation.. Prior to joining Sorrels Law, Turner worked as a defense attorney in securities arbitration, professional liability, and personal injury, where he represented securities brokerage firms, financial advisors, real estate firms, realtors, trucking companies, and commercial airlines. Turner has also represented textile manufacturers, construction companies, energy companies, and Native American tribes in commercial litigation and arbitration, both as plaintiff and defendant.. When he was 22 years old, he suffered a catastrophic injury that left him permanently and completely blind in his right eye and legally blind in his left eye. It took nearly two years and numerous surgeries to recover functional vision in his left eye, and he still deals with complications from the injury regularly. His unique experience helps Turner connect with his clients because he understands the physical, emotional, and financial toll of trying to recover from a catastrophic injury, and he has a sincere desire to help them restore their lives.. Since joining Sorrels, Turner has secured millions of dollars in recoveries for his clients. Turner works hard to give his clients the results they need and deserve. He understands that just one important fact can determine the outcome of a case, so he works each case with meticulous detail from the start to put his clients in the best position they can be in to win.. In 2024, Turner’s hard work and dedication were recognized by his peers when he was awarded the distinction of being named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star—an award bestowed upon less than 5% of attorneys in the State of Texas.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas. Went off to college at TCU and came back home for law school. I know Houston. I am raising my family in Houston. I love Houston. It's my job to protect the citizens of Houston.. Having long had strong ties to the greater Aspen area, my wife and fellow attorney Taly and I have opened a second office in Aspen. We look forward to bringing the results we have been achieving for over a decade in Houston to the people of Aspen!. My favorite part of this job is going to trial. And, it's that love of trial that gets great results before a trial is necessary. Too often the State will try and force you into a deal. Let me analyze the case. Let me analyze the State. The State has the burden of proof to prove that you committed that crime beyond a reasonable doubt. Don't go down without taking a swing of the bat. But, it's best to bring the biggest bat you can carry.. I live by my word and will always be straight with you. When you hire me, I will give you my cell phone number and you can call/text/email me at any time. Afterall, I work for you.
Born and raised in Houston, I am dedicated to defending the criminally accused in my local community. Before entering into private practice, I served as an assistant district attorney with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. This experience gave me an invaluable understanding of the trial process and the strategies used by prosecutors, which now helps me build comprehensive and effective defenses for my clients.. I am committed to providing my clients with outstanding representation and aggressively defending their rights no matter what charges they face. I was honored to be selected for H Texas Magazine's list of Houston's Top Lawyers for 2011, 2012, and 2013, and I also received the Avvo Clients' Choice Award for 2012.. Ben Pearce, has been a pivotal member of Greco Neyland PC from its foundation. Jumping into practice with the seasoned defense attorneys and former prosecutors at Greco Neyland, Ben quickly set out to prove his merit.. Ben is a lifelong Houston resident, and is the first member of his family to become an attorney. He worked his way through college where he would graduate from the University of Texas, Austin with a bachelor’s in Economics and a double minor in Psychology and Business Administration.. After finishing undergrad, Ben attended law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law back in his hometown of Houston. Capitalizing on a merit-based scholarship earned from his undergraduate accomplishments, Ben was set out to prepare himself to hit the ground running once his inevitable graduation and licensure came to pass. After his first year of law school, Ben started an internship with Attorney Dustan Neyland. This opportunity allowed him to assist on serious cases, a far cry from the hypotheticals presented in the classroom. Such cases included the successful suppression of over 100 pounds of marijuana, not guilty trial verdicts, and practical appellate research.. As with any attorney at Greco Neyland, an understanding of what it takes to prosecute a case is paramount. Ben earned a coveted spot in the Thurgood Marshall School of Law’s academic externship program with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Throughout his final year of law school, he gained practical knowledge of the inner workings of criminal prosecutions.. Ben strives for his goal to provide equality under the law at every opportunity for his clients. From the moment he set out for law school his mind was made up, he wanted to work on matters of substance and have a true impact on the lives of his clients. Of course, nothing matters more than arguing cases that deal with a person’s freedom. He knew he had to become a criminal-defense lawyer.. Ben has found particular aptitude in utilizing the grand jury process to find success for our clients. A process avoided by many attorneys as they decry it a waste of effort which actually requires a defense attorney to work and not just “show up” to court. By breaking down complex and voluminous cases into straightforward presentments, Ben has been able to yield many positive results on cases where prosecutors relied upon quantity over quality of evidence.

Ben Bireley is one of our most experienced commercial and civil lawyers. At Arnold & Itkin, he focuses his case on maritime accidents, trucking accidents, plant and refinery accidents, and other complex and high-stakes personal injury cases.. Prior to joining our firm, Ben worked at a nationally-renowned commercial litigation firm in Houston. Here he gained valuable insight into how the best civil defense attorneys strategize, protect clients, and defend themselves from claims. He uses this insight to beat those same lawyers on behalf of our clients.. Ben’s case experience includes complex multi-party litigation, handling claims against a dialysis provider under the False Claims Act, breach of fiduciary claims, and oil-and-gas contract disputes. Each of these cases involved enormous sums of money at stake, and Ben proved more than capable of ensuring the best possible result for his clients.. By far, Ben’s proudest case as a lawyer was when he represented the Boys & Girls Harbor—a home for abused and neglected children—against the City of Morgan’s Point. He secured a multi-million dollar settlement for the Harbor against the city, helping them to continue doing vital charitable work.. Outside of the courtroom, Ben spends time with his wife and 3 daughters, plays basketball (albeit not as well as he used to), and enjoys spending time on the coast.

Before going to law school I worked in construction, and thereafter in the oil and gas industry. As a result, I experienced significant workplace harassment and discrimination. Because of these experiences I dedicated my life to preventing such discrimination and harassment, (as well as the retaliation workers sometimes face when making complaints about such acts). I focused my legal education on Labor and Employment matters, and after getting out of law school in 1993, I went to work in the Labor and Employment section for the City Attorney's Office in Houston, and then I went to work in Dallas for the largest Labor & Employment firm in the country. I became Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas State Bar in 1999, and in 2002 I started focusing my practice on helping employees that have been illegally treated in the workplace. You will not find a lawyer that is more dedicated to protecting employees that have been subjected to illegal treatment in the workplace.
