I began my legal career in the management services division of a large, publicly-traded real estate investment trust. In this role I was responsible for the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, promotion and coaching of all employees reporting to me. As a member of the management team, I was driven to learn everything that I could about employment law to protect the company from liability. During this process I learned that many employment laws are so complex that they often provide no protection for employees at all. I wanted to do something to make sure that employees were treated fairly in our legal system. So, in 2006 I established the Dupree Law Firm with a valuable perspective on how companies approach employment law claims.. I am proud to have represented Texas employees for over a decade in cases before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), in state and federal court and in private arbitrations.
