In Real Life I am blessed to be the devoted husband of one, father of four, grandfather of ten, and confidant of my trusty companion, Sammie, an energetic 5 year old Cocker Spaniel "rescue" who agrees with me on almost everything . Married to the former Joann Worley of Houston, Texas in 1956, I have spent my entire adult life in Houston except for sojourns to Texas A&M University for an education, and the University of Texas Law School to "learn a trade." Along the way I have been privileged to play college and semi professional baseball, sing with the Houston Grand Opera, ride tens of thousands of miles on a motorcycle deep into Mexico (long before motorcycles were cool), own a motorcycle dealership, conduct The Houston Symphony Orchestra, be a church choir director and bail bondsman, all while managing to persuade my bride of all these years to continue to be patient with me. This eclectic journey has taught me how truly unique each client, and that client's values, really are. Collaborative practice allows me to honor the uniqueness of each client, while serving as an advocate, counselor and guide during perilous times in their lives.. I believe that "the family" is the single most important entity in our culture, and in our time. I was drawn to family law because of its' potential to truly make a difference in the lives of individual clients and help strengthen that institution in direct and positive ways at the same time. Attorney Kevin Fulton is originally from Los Angeles, California but for the last 17 years has called Houston home.  Kevin has had a strong sense of community and service since he was a child.  Immediately upon graduating from high school, Kevin joined the Army and served with distinction.  Kevin is a decorated war veteran who served his country as a reconnaissance soldier in the United States Army. This service included guarding the borders of Europe, functioning as a liberator in the Persian Gulf War, and acting as a humanitarian in Operation Provide Comfort for Kurdish Refugees in Turkey and Iraq.  As a result of his service, Kevin was awarded 10 medals.. After being Honorably Discharged from the Army, Kevin immediately enrolled in college while continuing his service to community by devoting his time on the Board of Directors for a youth counseling organization that provided assistance to at-risk, low income children, youth and their families.  Kevin also dedicated countless hours to helping victims of domestic violence and trained at risk students in conflict resolution.  This focus and dedication earned him a Juris Doctor Degree as well as a Certificate of Distinguished Public Service.  As a student Kevin was an extern for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Community Legal Aid Office.. After law school Kevin became a legal consultant for a major government development agency that specialized in multi-family housing and homeownership.  After leaving the public sector, Kevin entered the private sector as In-House Counsel for a large Property Management Company and handled Employment Law issues, Landlord/Tenant Law, and Business Litigation issues.. As an attorney, Kevin believes that all people, regardless of income level, should be afforded competent legal representation.  To help those that cannot afford representation, Kevin has incorporated the frequent use of his legal skills to go into the community to provide pro bono legal services.  Kevin also takes the time to visit subsidized housing communities to encourage disadvantaged youth to enter the legal profession and to return the knowledge gained back to their community.   He is a member of the Texas State Bar Sections on Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law; Labor & Employment Law; Health Law; Business Law; Construction Law; and Criminal Justice.

Attorney Arpita Legha, a cofounding partner of Oxner Legha, PLLC, exclusively focuses and manages the Family Law section of the firm.. Arpita was born in New Delhi, India and moved to Houston, Texas in 2002. While her peers were graduating high school, Arpita received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the age of just 19. Thereafter, Arpita received her Law Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, followed by a Masters in Law (LL.M.) in Tax Law at the University of Florida Levin School of Law.. Arpita started her career as an international tax planning attorney at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, one of the top 4 accounting firms in the world. Missing the personal aspect of practicing law, Arpita quit her corporate job and became a family law attorney. She fell in love with family law and the people she helped navigate life changing events. Immediately prior to cofounding Oxner Legha, Arpita was the lead attorney managing a docket of over 50 family law cases.. Arpita’s family law practice specifically deals with complex property divisions, high net worth divorces, child custody battles, negotiations, and mediations.
