Originally from Little Rock, Chris graduated from Hall High School In 1991. In 1995, he graduated from Hendrix College, where he earned a B.A. cum laude in economics and government with distinction. Chris later attended the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he graduated third in his class and earned a J.D. summa cum laude in 1998. He also served as the executive editor of the Arkansas Law Review; was a member of the board of advocates, and served as a member of the university’s national moot court team, which advanced to the national finals in New York. He primarily practices in the areas of civil litigation, and other areas of practice include:. Chris is married to Catherine Averitt. They have a son, Graham Averitt, and a daughter, Caroline Averitt.. He is active in church and previously founded a local apartment church. Chris also leads a weekly Bible study for men in the office of Scholtens & Averitt. His parents live in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where his father is a retired minister of the United Methodist Church, and his mother is a retired school teacher. He has two sisters who also live in northwest Arkansas.

My name is Mark Rees.  I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people.  This can be difficult at times, but I always try to remember that people have disputes and they need someone to get them resolved.  Regardless of what the problem is, if I can get it resolved, the client is grateful.. My main focus is to handle personal injury/wrongful death accidents.  I truly feel that lawyers can make the community that we live in safer by requiring corporations and individuals that violate "standard safety rules" be responsible for the injuries that they cause because of such conduct.. My wife, Tamara, and I were married in 1993 and I have three children, Reagan, Kendal, and Zac.  We certainly have enjoyed watching them grow up and become responsible and compassionate to others.. My role as a lawyer is important to me; I understand that people come to me because of some problem that is disrupting their lives; I will always strive to remember each client and their circumstance, and try and get it resolved the best way possible that is beneficial to the client.

Ms. Quraishi is a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and is a former AQHA Amateur World Champion and All Around Amateur in the Nation.  She also serves on the Youth Committee for AQHA.

JP joined the Taylor King Law firm after graduating from Arkansas State University in 2012 and the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2015.. He now resides in Jonesboro where he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, reading, and cooking.

I have been in practice for 25 years and have helped thousands of people overcome debt problems.   I have offices in Jonesboro and Batesville Arkansas.  I live on a 6 acre hobby farm and  In my free time I raise horses, hike, camp, fish, and enjoy anything outdoors.   I am an amateur blacksmith and welder and love to repurpose found objects.

I am passionate about my job, my family and my conditioning.  In my spare time, I work out biking, swimming and lifting light weights.  I enjoy litigation for a number of reasons. First, it is a mental and emotional challenge to always keep your wits about you and to allow the best and most important information about your client and their case to be presented to the jury or the judge.  Second, it requires split second timing and decision making.  These two things make it very enjoyable for me as I am very critical of myself so I always want to improve despite having practiced for over 37 years.. Putting your client first, having them prepared and me being prepared requires a significant amount of effort, but when done well is very emotionally rewarding for me as I feel that I have helped another person which is imporant to me.

For me, family comes first. Through that commitment to family, I have learned the importance of strong relationships in difficult times. It is with those lessons in mind that I approach every new client and every new case.. By far, the most important element of any case is the relationship between client and lawyer. Attorney Pamela Haun focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, business law, guardianships and family law.
