Matt also serves on the governing boards for the following organizations: The American Legion Boys State of Missouri, the Kansas City Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation, and Legal Aid of Western Missouri.. Matt earned his law and undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri.  He is a native of Sedalia, Missouri.
