Ms. Shepherd opened her family practice in September of 2009. She received her B.S. degree in advertising from The University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and worked in advertising before pursuing law school. She received her J.D. degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1999, where she served on the Law Review, the Moot Court Board, and the UMKC Trial Team.
