Kaylee Rush grew up in rural east Texas and attended undergraduate university at the University of Texas at Arlington before settling in Houston, where she attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school, Kaylee earned multiple academic honors including the Dean's Merit scholarship and several CALI awards and participated in the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinics. Kaylee also completed a 2-year state district family court clerkship as a law student..
