Since passing the Utah bar in 2010, I have practiced primarily education law and family law, with a little business law as well.  I currently practice education law in the role of in-house counsel for a charter school education service provider, a role I have been in since 2016.  Previous to this position, I did family law and commercial litigation at a firm in Salt Lake City and was an attorney at the Univeristy of Utah Office of General Counsel.  In addition to my current in-house counsel position, when time allows I handle family law cases and provide legal services to a number of business clients.

Kurt was born and raised in Kaysville city and graduated from Davis High School in 1996. Kurt has lived in Davis County the majority of his life and enjoys helping others on a daily basis. I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) where I serve nationally in several positions. On a personal note, I am married and have 4 sons and 1 daughter ranging in ages 20-31 years, and three grandchildren with twins on the way.
