After attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he worked as Chief of Staff and Media Relations Director at the Wisconsin State Legislature, where he was instrumental in negotiating, crafting and implementing new and improved state laws. At the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mr. Anderson was a member of the successful J. Braxton Craven Moot Court Team, was Associate Editor for the journal Law Forum, was a supervising Teaching Assistant for the school’s Legal Research and Writing Class, and acted as Research Assistant and Editor for faculty writings that appeared in national publications, which included American Law Review, The Nation, and The Atlantic.. Before forming Shiryak, Bowman, Anderson, Gill, and Kadochnikov LLP, Mr. Anderson founded the law firm Anderson Shen P.C., was counsel for the Howard County Office of the Public Defender in Maryland, and was an associate with the firm Steven Zalewski and Associates in Queens, New York.
