As co-founder of Shiryak, Bowman, Anderson, Gill & Kadochnikov (SBAGK), Mr. Anderson has a wide-range of experience in numerous civil and criminal litigation topics, including foreclosure and foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, landlord-tenant law, quiet title actions, and family law. Mr. Anderson has also successfully conducted trials in several courts throughout New York City and States of New York and Maryland, argued in front of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, and obtained millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. He is barred in the state of New York and has his federal bar in both the Southern and Eastern Districts for the State of New York.. Mr. Anderson is native of Minnesota. After attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he worked as Chief of Staff and Media Relations Director at the Wisconsin State Legislature, where he was instrumental in negotiating, crafting and implementing new and improved state laws. At the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mr. Anderson was a member of the successful J. Braxton Craven Moot Court Team, was Associate Editor for the journal Law Forum, was a supervising Teaching Assistant for the school’s Legal Research and Writing Class, and acted as Research Assistant and Editor for faculty writings that appeared in national publications, which included American Law Review, The Nation, and The Atlantic.. Before forming Shiryak, Bowman, Anderson, Gill, and Kadochnikov LLP, Mr. Anderson founded the law firm Anderson Shen P.C., was counsel for the Howard County Office of the Public Defender in Maryland, and was an associate with the firm Steven Zalewski and Associates in Queens, New York.
