In a civil litigation capacity, he has handled subjects ranging from constitutional law to construction defects to contract disputes.. Mr. Irion served as a transactions attorney for the University of Tennessee Research Foundation, where he managed patent portfolios, executed licensing agreements and negotiated contracts in the millions of dollars for the University. Mr. Irion continues his work with the University as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Law..
