Prior to joining The Lawyers of Brown and Roberto, I practiced law in Nashville where I gained experience in employment discrimination claims, personal injury claims, will contests and breach of contract claims.  I served as a judicial law clerk in the Tennessee Supreme Court.  While practicing law in the Court, I assisted the Justices of the Court with complex legal research in the drafting of Court opinions.  Before I became a lawyer, I served for four years as a policy advisor to Governor Phil Bredesen.. I am a Knoxville native. I graduated from Farragut High School where I captained the Cross Country Team. From there I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee and graduated Cum Laude. I also earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from UT and my Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law.. Dominic Allen Garduño was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona. Dominic double-majored during his undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University and earned his bachelor’s degrees in American Political Studies as well as Criminology and Criminal Justice. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in 2020.. Upon passing the Tennessee bar exam in 2020, Dominic joined the Garza Law Firm team where he is committed to serving his clients and building enduring relationships. Cody was born and raised in East Tennessee. He attended Lenoir City High School and went on to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he graduated with a B.A. in economics and political science. While at the University of Tennessee, Cody was a member of the University of Tennessee Waterski and Wakeboard team. Upon graduating, Cody went on to work in the marine industry.. Clint is originally from Hayesville, North Carolina. He attended college in North Georgia at Young Harris College where he was a member of the Men’s Basketball team and was twice named Academic All-Conference.. While in law school, he served as a Board Member for LMU’s Moot Court competition team, where he competed in competitions throughout the country. He earned CALI Awards for the top grade in various classes, including Torts, Business Organizations, and Topics in Environmental Law. Clint graduated magna cum laude in the top 5% of his class.. During law school, Clint served as a Research Assistant to Associate Dean Mathew Lyon and Professor of Law Phillip Ashley, and completed internships with the corporate legal department for Clayton Homes and the Tennessee Court of Appeals.. Born in Columbus, MS, Martin Ellis attended the University of the South, Sewanee, TN (B.S., 1973) and the University of Tennessee (J.D., 1978) and was admitted to the bar in 1978 and admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2003.
