I grew up in the city of Whittier, California and graduated from La Habra High School. I attended the University of California Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Chicano Studies. I moved to Comayagua, Honduras after college to work full-time as a teacher for a kindergarten class in the Escuela Bilingue Honduras. I taught six year old and seven year old children to read and write in the English language while maintaining their fluency in Spanish. During my time in Honduras, I traveled the beautiful Central American countries of Guatemala and Nicaragua as well as attended Spanish schools in those countries. I also traveled to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to attend a Spanish course at the University of Guadalajara.I graduated from Western State University, School of Law in the city of Fullerton. I worked as the lead litigation attorney at a personal injury law firm for three years before opening my own practice.
