After graduation, I went into private business until 1992, at which time I entered Law School at Southern University. I graduated from Southern University School of Law in 1995, Magna Cum Laude, and as Associate Editor of the Law Review during my Senior Year.. In 1996, I became a founding partner of Galloway Jefcoat, L.L.P. which strives to meet the needs of injured persons throughout Louisiana. I am married to the former June Odom, a local small business owner, and we have two amazing children, Johnae and Jacob.
