As Co-Chair of the Amicus Committee, Ms. Beattie has written several briefs to the Colorado Supreme Court concerning family law issues.. Ms. Beattie has volunteered for many organizations, including the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center and the Commerce City Police Department, where she received a Unit Citation for her assistance following the Columbine school shooting.

Mr. Carbonneau joined Pearson and Paris, P.C. in March of 2021. Mr. Carbonneau received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School. During his law school tenure, Mr. Carbonneau focused on building his litigation experience. He interned for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Denver Office. There, he assisted both the trial and investigations teams in the detection of financial crimes and the prosecution of those crimes. After working for the SEC, Stephen worked for the Adams County District Attorneys Office where he appeared as a prosecutor in misdemeanor and traffic cases.. After graduating law school in 2018, Mr. Carbonneau was offered a position with the Grand County District Attorney’s Office. In that role, Mr. Carbonneau was responsible for all aspects of prosecuting cases. He handled everything ranging from jury trials to motions hearings, bond hearings, appeals, and plea negotiations.. In April of 2020, Mr. Carbonneau left his position with the Grand County District Attorney’s Office to start his own solo law practice. While thriving as a solo practitioner, Mr. Carbonneau broadened his expertise from criminal to other areas of law such as family law and landlord-tenant disputes.. Mr. Carbonneau prides himself on his work ethic, attention to detail, and his ability to take complex legal theories and break them down into non-legal jargon, allowing clients to fully understand all aspects of their case. Matthew Gold is the founder and managing attorney of Gold Law, L.L.C. He established Gold Law because of his desire to help those individuals who find themselves in trouble, and who are in need of someone who will listen, guide, and fight for them. Matthew understands that your case is your highest priority and he is personally focused and invested in your case and outcome. Prior to establishing Gold Law, L.L.C., Matthew Spencer Gold was a felony prosecutor, serving Colorado's First Judicial District (Jefferson and Gilpin Counties). Matthew began working in the District Attorney's Office as a legal intern in 2011 and after becoming a sworn Deputy, worked his way up from handling misdemeanor and traffic cases to prosecuting all manner of felony cases up to and including First Degree Murder. During that time Matthew handled thousands of DUI and domestic violence cases. Matthew also worked in the Juvenile unit, where he gained specialized knowledge in the area of juvenile law. As a felony prosecutor, Matthew gained invaluable experience handling Drug Offenses, Sex Offenses and other serious person crimes. He also spent time as the assigned prosecutor in charge of Gilpin County. Matthew has tried over 70 cases to juries in Colorado. Prior to the DA's Office, Matthew interned with a District Court Judge in Jefferson County, gaining the valuable perspective of the Judges and Courts. Matthew Gold is a 2013 graduate of The University of Denver Sturm College of Law and received his undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2010. Since leaving the DAs office, Gold has established Gold Law, and is using the knowledge and experience gained as a state trial lawyer to protect and fight for those accused of DUI and other crimes.
