My wife and I are proud to have deep roots in Southern Nevada, including pioneer ancestors who were among the original settlers of Clark County. Not only were we both born and raised here, hiking at Red Rock, snow-skiing at Mt. Charleston, and boating at Lake Mead, but we both have parents who graduated from Las Vegas High School.  We have been grateful to raise our own children here and watch them excel academically, and in other areas, through participation in local school and private sports teams, dance teams, scouting, and Church activities.. My grandfather George H. "Bud" Albright was listed in the Las Vegas Review Journal's survey of the "Top 100" Most Influential residents in the history of Southern Nevada, due to his role as the "Father of the Las Vegas Convention Center" a project he spearheaded as a local political leader and public administrator.  My wife Elaine's family was influential in the development of Pahrump Nevada, where they were among the first land-owners and ranchers.. I appreciated the opportunity, during and after Law School, to extern for Judge Lloyd D. George, for whom Las Vegas's Federal Courthouse is named, and to clerk for Justice Thomas L. Steffen and the Nevada Supreme Court in Carson City, Nevada.   But my most important mentor was my father, Vern Albright, a prominent local attorney since the 1960s.  I continue to enjoy serving both local and international clients in real estate and corporate transactions and in business litigation in Nevada's State and Federal Courts, and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, where I act both as an attorney advocate, and as an arbitrator, in resolving or adjudicating various legal claims.

In 1999, Leah graduated summa cum laude from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science.  In law school, she was Editor-in-Chief of the Nevada Law Journal and judicial extern to United States District Court Judge Phillip Pro. She graduated summa cum laude from UNLV's law school in 2002. At graduation, she was recognized as the William S. Boyd Outstanding Graduate.. Following her graduation from law school, she immediately began employment at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, at the time the largest law firm in the state, which specializes in a variety of business matters.  While at that firm, and subsequently at Bailey Kennedy, she gained experience on complex matters while being mentored by a variety of top professionals in Nevada.. In 2011, she made the choice to establish her own firm. She brings to her firm many years of experience in all areas of business law, including preparing formation documents; drafting operating and shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, purchase and finance agreements, leases, surrender agreements, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and employment agreements; contract litigation; shareholder derivative suits; business dissolutions; and appellate matters.. During the course of her practice of law, she has also been involved in many areas of legal education and service. She was an associate editor of the Nevada Civil Practice Manual from 2004-2010. She was a teaching assistant for the Nevada Civil Practice class at UNLV's law school from 2006-2008. She has been a grader for the Nevada Bar Exam since 2008. She has chaired the Clark County Law Foundation Community Service Committee, having served on the committee since 2007. In addition to maintaining her own cases, she has also been an arbitrator on the Court Annexed Arbitration Program Panel since 2012.. She is currently licensed with the State Bar of Nevada. She is also certified to practice Law in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, and Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.. She currently lives with her husband Scot and two daughters. She is involved in numerous community organizations, including UNLV Alumni Association (lifetime member), Sigma Kappa Sorority Advisory Board (member), Junior Achievement (volunteer), All American Booster Club (Brown's Gymnastics), Central Christian Church (Southwest Campus Director of New Beginnings), and Green Chamber of Nevada President..
