During his time in Nevada, Mr. Gerber was promoted from associate attorney to director and finally to a position as an equity shareholder of the firm.. Mr. Gerber also developed a practice on the “other side” of the bench as an arbitrator and panel chair. As a member of the State Bar of Nevada Disciplinary Board Mr. Gerber served as a panelist and panel chair responsible for conducting hearings in attorney discipline cases. Mr. Gerber was also appointed as an arbitrator in civil litigation cases in Clark County, Nevada. Mr. Gerber’s experience includes more than 25 cases were he served as an arbitrator responsible for setting discovery schedules, resolving pre-arbitration disputes, conducting arbitration hearings, issuing decisions and deciding post-arbitration motions. Recently, Mr. Gerber was appointed to the American Arbitration Association National Panel of arbitrators where he will continue his arbitration and mediation practice.. After more then a decade with his firm and in Las Vegas, Mr. Gerber and his family left Las Vegas to return to their roots in the Midwest and to pursue new opportunities. Mr. Fox is an AV rated commercial trial attorney with a focus on business disputes, construction disputes, trade secret litigation, non-compete agreements and all manner of real estate issues.. Mr. Fox was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2004.  After law school he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge David A. Wiseman in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.  Thereafter, he clerked with the Honorable Ron Parraguirre at the Eighth Judicial District Court and also at the Nevada Supreme Court.. After gaining the significant experience offered from clerking at both the trial court and appellate court levels, Mr. Fox joined MAC in early 2006.  He never looked back.  One of the benefits of being a MAC attorney is the supervised trust placed in young attorneys.  This offers the opportunity to make promising young attorneys into excellent attorneys by providing valuable hands-on experience at an early career stage.  Mr. Fox eagerly took this opportunity and gained extensive experience litigating contractor and mechanics lien disputes, trade secret cases, non-compete agreements and shareholder disputes.  This valuable experience gave Mr. Fox the ability to deal with complex disputes requiring extensive knowledge of how to apply the merits of a case to trial and arbitration settings.  Of equal value is Mr. Fox’s ability to take the lessons learned on larger matters and apply those to smaller client issues in an effort to aid clients in resolving disputes at early stages.  Part of an attorney’s job is to keep clients out of problems and Mr. Fox takes that to heart.. Mr. Fox has authored articles related to commercial real estate, non-compete agreements and offers of judgment.  While at the Nevada Supreme Court he learned the inner-workings of the State’s highest court and regularly applies the knowledge he has gained throughout the stages of any case.. As a self-proclaimed “Air Force Brat”, Mr. Fox got to experience the world at an early age.  He graduated high school from Leysin American School in Switzerland and attended a branch of the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany.  When not working hard for clients, he spends time with his wife and two kids.  He enjoys playing sports, watching movies and travel.

Mr. Colvin focuses his practice primarily in the areas of bankruptcy and debtor/creditor rights. Mr. Colvin received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1990 from Brigham Young University, where he participated in Moot Court, served on the Moot Court Board of Directors and was a member of the American Inns of Court. He was admitted to practice in Nevada in 1990. During his practice, he also taught bankruptcy law as an adjunct professor at the College of Southern Nevada. He represents clients in state and federal courts and has traveled extensively to other jurisdictions in advocating his clients' interests. Mr. Colvin serves on the board of the Southern Nevada Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys. In his personal time, Dave enjoys reading and spending time with his family.

Mr. Alleman practices primarily in real estate, corporate and commercial transactions. He assists businesses with formation, licensing and governance matters, as well as general business contracts and mergers and acquisitions. He also assists banks, businesses, homebuilders and developers in a wide range of real estate matters, including the acquisition and disposition of land and improved property, finance and leasing.. Mr. Alleman received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with a minor in German, from Brigham Young University. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, graduating cum laude.. Mr. Alleman was admitted to practice in Nevada in 2002. Prior to joining Marquis Aurbach to chair the firm’s transactional department, Mr. Alleman was a shareholder at a large Nevada firm, practicing in real estate, corporate and commercial transactions.. Mr. Alleman is an Eagle Scout and has volunteered in many capacities with the Boy Scouts of America. He is active with local church youth groups and currently serves as a leader of a large church group of young single adults. He has been very active in coaching youth sports and served most recently as the Vice President of Summerlin South Little League (SSLL). He served as an SSLL board member for six years and coached several of its All-Star teams, including, most recently, the 2017 Majors All-Star team that won the Nevada state championship and represented Nevada in the West Regional Tournament in San Bernardino. Originally from Southern California, he is an avid Raiders, Angels and Lakers fan.

Michael S. Alires assists clients in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors throughout formation and organizational development.  As a Nevada native, Mr. Alires went to law school with the intention of helping Nevada businesses and nonprofits flourish and focused his studies on issues affecting them.  He has helped clients form Nevada benefit corporations and achieve tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service.  Mr. Alires has experience working with nonprofit Directors and Officers to best effectuate organizational goals.

Lance effectively counsels a wide range of real estate clients, including real estate developers, lenders, sellers and buyers.. His extensive experience includes real property acquisition, development, leasing, sales and financing.. Lance has represented both owners and lenders involving residential, commercial and industrial real estate developments, financing transactions, real property sales and purchases, general property matters, including easements and leases. He has taught seminars and prepared written materials on various real estate issues.
