Rachel Sloane was born and raised in Las Vegas, but left her hometown to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she obtained a Bachelors of Art in History in 2010. Rachel obtained her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, CA. While in law school, Rachel participated in numerous organizations including Teen Court,  the Children’s Rights Clinic, and worked alongside the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles to help citizens obtain their Cal-Fresh and other government benefits. Rachel  also externed for Nevada Supreme Court Justice, Michael L. Douglas and United States District Court Judge, James C. Mahan.. Prior to joining Marquis Aurbach Coffing, Rachel served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Valorie J. Vegas and the Honorable Richard F. Scotti of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rachel also practiced in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, and general civil litigation.. In her free time Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends and family, spending time outdoors, caring for her various fur-babies, and cooking.
