My practice is concentrated on the defense of citizens accused of crimes. We also know that it's in an client's best interest to avoid a lengthy trial process and potential conviction. My trial work results in DUI verdicts of not guilty, homicide acquittals and many other not guilty verdicts for those accused of serious crimes. More importantly, my pre-trial efforts result in charges being dismissed or lowered, avoiding the dangers and expense of lengthy jury trials. Many of my clients have been found not guilty, while other clients avoided the harsh penalties called for under criminal statutes. I focus a large area of my practice to Domestic Assault cases with the belief that most families need love and support to get through their diffcult times and not the heavy hand of the law. Convictions in Domestic Assault can result in a citizen losing their home, their job and their freedom. Mr. Lanham is the owner of the Law Office of Patrick Lanham, located in Lebanon, Kentucky.  Patrick started this practice in 2013 after 8 years of service as a JAG attorney for the United States Army.  During those years of service, Patrick was both a Prosecutor and later a Defense Attorney assigned to represent Soldiers in hundreds of court-martial and/or administrative actions.. Mr. Lanham deployed once to Iraq as a Prosecutor for the 25th Infantry Division and later prosecuted cases in Hawaii as a trial counsel for both the 25th Infantry Division and the 8th Theater Support Command.  Mr. Lanham later served as Chief of Military Justice for the United States Army Recruiting Command and Senior Trial Counsel at Fort Bliss, Texas.  Mr. Lanham's last year and a half as a JAG attorney was with the Trial Defense Office in Fort Bliss, Texas, where he represented hundreds of clients facing Court-Martials or Administrative Separations.. Upon his departure from service, Mr. Lanham started his own practice in his hometown of Lebanon, Kentucky.  He has a general practice serving Central Kentucky in which he practices in Family Law (Divorce and Child Custody) and criminal defense.  Mr. Lanham continues his support for Service Members as he will defend those facing court-martial or administrative hearings.. I want to take this space to thank my wonderful wife and children for all of  their support, which has molded me into the husband, father and attorney that I am today. Outside of the practice of law my family keeps me busy.  Sometimes I think they work me harder than my staff, but I love every second of it.  I can never coach enough soccer games, go on enough dates with my wife, or enjoy too many Cincinnati Reds baseball games on a summer eve.  I enjoy it all and will continue to work hard for my family and my clients.

I am an eager attorney with a focus on helping my clients achieve fiscal security and a general sense of ease through proper estate planning.  This process requires an attention to detail and an understanding for the various circumstances that people often find confusing or difficult to overcome.  By making a plan early, the difficulty of these situations can often be easily mitigated..
