I practice in two areas: bankrupcty and divorce. I particularly enjoy the areas of credit scores and real estate issues. My office has been in Lenexa for over 25 years and my paralegal Irene Lindsey has been assisting me for a similar period of time. I make a point of explaining both ares of the law in detail and helping clients with areas that are often often stressful.. Recreationally, I enjoy handyman projects, nature, and reading. I am the father of triplets, now in their late twenties.
I am a long-time Kansas City area resident having moved to the area in 1998. I attended Mizzou for my undergraduate education where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Political Science. From Mizzou, I worked at Cerner Corporation for several years before feeling called to law school. I attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City for their law program and received my J.D. in 2010 and my LL.M. in Taxation in 2011. While receiving my J.D. and LL.M., I also worked in H&R Block’s corporate tax research department in downtown Kansas City. I eventually moved to a small firm, worked there for several years, and then to a larger firm where I worked as well. My experience at those firms was helping numerous families with their estate, business, and elder care needs.. After the experience in the corporate world, along with small and large firms, I decided that I felt a need and desire to open my own firm where I could assist clients in the ways I thought were most important: Competent legal service, customized to each person, that’s cost effective. My goal is to keep you involved in every step and to truly understand the plan you receive and be happy with the process.. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss with you, your family, and other loved ones to help plan your estate, your business, or any of the other services I offer such as probate administration, tax planning, real estate law, and Medicaid and VA benefits.

At Crabtree Law Office, we believe in a client-centered approach to the practice of law. I take my role as a counselor as seriously as my role as an advocate and persuader. I believe that every client deserves respect, time and to have their individual case treated as a top priority. As a result, I try to limit the number of cases I take so I can provide the level of service I would want if I or a family member were seriously injured.
