Julie’s experience and expertise in her transactional law practice focuses on estate and business planning and probate. As Julie’s clients include individuals who are business owners, she has experience in the areas of employment law, real estate transactions, and state and federal tax matters.. Julie graduate with a B.S. in Global Studies and Business from Nebraska Wesleyan University during which time she also studied and lived in Japan. Following graduation from Wesleyan, she managed corporate operations, including human resources and benefit administration for an international company in Lincoln. Julie then attended law school at the University of Nebraska College of Law, pursuing a business transaction track of study. Upon graduation from law school, Julie served as legal counsel of the premiere livestock association in the state of Nebraska. Later, Julie was recruited to use her entrepreneurial skills along with her legal and business experience to develop and lead a state level association for the promotion and growth of the biosciences in Nebraska. During this time, Julie also taught business law as an adjunct professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University. After five years of practicing law for membership organizations, Julie returned to the classroom, specifically to the University of Denver, Graduate Tax Program, where she earned a Masters of Law in Taxation (LLM-Tax).
