Mike Rainwater was born and raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas and is a graduate of North Little Rock High School.  He obtained his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in 1972, and went on to graduate from the South Texas College of Law in 1979.  While attending law school, Mike was a member of Phi Alpha Delta..
