Mark Brumbaugh has practiced in Southwest Washington for over 25 years, primarily in the area of personal injury law. Josh was raised in the Pacific Northwest, growing up in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, before graduation from Decatur High School in Federal Way Washington.  He attended both Gonzaga University and Central Washington University for undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 2002.  From 2002-2005 he found his way back to Gonzaga University to obtain his Law Degree and graduated with honors before moving to Longview Washington to begin his legal career.. In Longview Josh got his start with the County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office before moving to Walstead Mertsching in 2006. While an associate there he handled general civil cases and unlawful detainer actions.  After a short period of time he decided that he wanted more experience in the courtroom and to hone his jury trial skills so he moved on to the County Office of Public Defense. As a public defender Josh handled all manner of criminal cases in every court in Cowlitz County, representing indigent defendants charged with everything from DUI to serious felony matters.  His dogged determination and willingness to try cases resulted in numerous acquittals on serious cases including high level domestic violence assault charges, kidnapping charges, and rape charges, saving clients decades in prison for crimes they didn’t commit.. In addition Josh makes Longview his home. He lives here with his wife of ten years and his three children.  He attends church here as a member of Calvary Community Church and previously served on their trustee board and as a volunteer in their youth ministries programs.

Currently my practice consists mainly of family law, employment law and general civil litigation.  Having worked in Human Resources Management for seven years prior to becoming a lawyer, I understand the complex legal issues in representing workers in wage dispute claims and victims of discrimination, sexual harassment or wrongful termination. Previously I was employed with the US Department of Labor Employee Benefit Security Administration providing information, guidance, and enforcement on rights, benefits and obligations under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

Carlee Bliss is a northwest native from Oregon City, Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2014 and earned her Juris Doctorate degree at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, in 2018.. After completing law school in the desert of Arizona, she moved back home to the Northwest. Upon passing the bar, Carlee ventured up north to Longview where she has excelled in her career as a Family Law Attorney. Carlee is determined and eager to serve her clients in Cowlitz County. Her primary focus in the law is the best interest and desires of children in various court systems and efficiently advocating for her clients. In addition to her family law practice, she is also a children's representative in the dependency court system.. When not in the courtroom or office, Carlee is with her two FUR children, (two feisty chihuahuas as pictured above) or out playing disc golf.
