As a litigator since 1984, I have tried nearly 60 jury trials to verdict, over 30 as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Alaska (1984-86) and the remainder as a Civil Personal Injury and Business trial attorney.. My practice consists primarily of Elder Abuse, Personal Injury, Legal Malpractice, Business and Probate. Beit Din (Jewish religious court trials) as well.  While most cases do settle, your attorney must have the ability and confidence to go to trial when the other side is unwilling to negotiate a fair settlement. I can carry the job through to its just end, including by trial if necessary. In addition, I consistently provide pro bono legal services to elderly and needy persons and organizations who cannot afford necessary legal services.. I have volunteered as a Judge Pro Tem in the Los Angeles Superior Courts for over 10 years and as a volunteer Arbitrator for LASC more than 15 years.. I served on the Board of Directors of my synagogue, Beth Jacob Congregation of Beverly Hills, and volunteered as a lay leader there. I regularly donate blood at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.. During college years I worked as a Park Ranger (law enforcement division) in Yosemite, Sequoia & Yellowstone National Parks, when I first became interested in the law, and I was an Emergency Medical Technician. I was also a First Aid/CPR Instructor. Recently I retired from voluntary communal service as a First Responder EMT with Hatzolah of Los Angeles..
