After becoming a first-generation college graduate, I moved to Wisconsin to actualize my dream of becoming the first lawyer in my family. While I attended UW Law School, I participated in the Legal Assistance to Incarcerated People (LAIP) Second-Look Advocacy Clinic and spent the majority of my time training to become a Public Defender.
