While at Suffolk University Law School, I served as Content Editor of the Suffolk University Law Review and Vice Magistrate of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. I also was the recipient of the Distinguished Brief Award, Honorable Mention Oral Advocate Award, and Jurisprudence Awards for Property Law and Evidence/Trial Advocacy. I also graduated with Pro Bono Honors for my work with Judge Tucker and the New England Innocence Project.

For many years, I worked in the area of finance and computers (for small companies and non-profit organizations) while I worked towards obtaining my BS degree in Criminal Justice, with my ultimate goal to attend law school. In 2000 I started attending law school full time, attending classes at night and on weekends, all the while continuing to work full time to support my family. I graduated in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2003. I was admitted to practice law in New Hampshire in 2004 and later that same year in Connecticut and Maine.
