For many years, I worked in the area of finance and computers (for small companies and non-profit organizations) while I worked towards obtaining my BS degree in Criminal Justice, with my ultimate goal to attend law school. In 2000 I started attending law school full time, attending classes at night and on weekends, all the while continuing to work full time to support my family. I graduated in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2003. I was admitted to practice law in New Hampshire in 2004 and later that same year in Connecticut and Maine. Although I don't practice in Maine and Connecticut today, I continue to keep licenses active. I was a Guardian ad Litem appointed by the NH Courts in more than 150 cases involving parental rights and responsibilities, guardianships, termination of parental rights and relocation. Today, my practice includes a variety of areas of practice but is primarily focused on family issues, including divorce, parental rights and responsibilities, domestic violence issues, termination of parental rights, step-parent adoptions, wills, guardianships, deeds, prenuptial agreements, real property partitions, and other issues related to families.. I work closely with my clients to provide them with the best representation possible and to guide them through what is often a highly emotional process by providing reasonable expectations and guidance so that my clients can make informed decisions for not only their best interests, but also the best interest of their children and other family members.
