Prior to earning my law degree from St. John's Law School in 1993, I was employed as a Mechanical Engineer. After graduating I took a position with a public works contractor as an executive project manager and in-house counsel where I remained until 1999. Since that time I have represented contractors, owners and construction professionals on their projects both in and out of court as well as complex commercial litigation matters.. I believe that my engineering background and prior experience as a project manager is invaluable and an added benefit not shared by many other attorneys in the practice of construction law.. In addition to handling cases in court, I routinely review and negotiate contracts for clients, file and prosecute mechanic's liens and assist clients with everyday contract administration matters and construction claims.
