My two sons are grown now, but they are still  the apples of my eye.  I went to law school while they were young, and used to help them do their homework before I did my own. Before I became a lawyer, I was a journalist, working in Washington, D.C., Cleveland and Los Angeles. Most of my family remains in the Midwest--Michigan and Ohio--and  I love to visit them when I can get away. I still love to write and am on the editorial board of Los Angeles Lawyer magaqzine. I have been practicing family law in the Los Angeles area for approximately 22 years.  I offer a reduced-rate initial consultation for divorce clients.  During this conference, I will explain basic California divorce law to you and review the major aspects of your matter.  I try to provide a realistic evaluation of your situation, supported by my knowledge of California divorce law and my experience in litigating divorce matters in Court..
