I have been practicing law for almost 26 years, engaging in the general practice of law with an emphasis on criminal defense, personal injury and civil litigation.  I have successfully litigated or settled numerous cases for his clients, including personal injury cases such as automobile accidents, premises liability  malpractice cases, and dog bite cases, as well as workers compensation cases, social security disability claims, contract disputes, employer-employee disputes, and business disputes.  I have also handled numerous criminal defense matters over the years, ranging from crimes of violence, motor vehicle offenses including operating under the influence of liquor or drugs, to crimes against property, and drug offenses.  I have also handled numerous appeals before the Registry of Motor Vehicles.. My litigation experience throughout the courts in Eastern Massachusetts as well as Connecticut have gained me the experience necessary to achieve the most favorable decisions for my clients.  I am dedicated to provide personal attention to each client with a personalized approach for each case. I concentrate my practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, tax and business planning, elder law and disability planning, and trust, estate, and tax litigation.. I have authored chapters for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Inc. (MCLE)’s New England Law Practice Collection. I am the current Editor in Chief of the Rhode Island Bar Journal, and have had articles published on a variety of estate planning topics in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly and the Bar Journal. I am a lecturer on estate planning and asset protection for the Massachusetts Bar Association, Rhode Island Bar Association, and National Business Institute.. I have appeared and successfully argued several cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. I helped to create and implement the Rhode Island Pooled Trust, the first such trust for special needs individuals in the Ocean State. In addition, one of my notable areas of expertise is planning for individuals with interests in both New England and Florida.

Attorney Keady was raised in Massachusetts and received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan University in Norfolk, Virginia. Attorney Keady went on to earn his law degree from New England School of Law. While in college and law school, Attorney Keady worked in the construction industry and has a strong family affiliation with the Boston Labor Unions. Attorney Keady is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.

Attorney Gordon earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bridgewater State College. At Bridgewater, he was appointed Secretary of the Political Science National Honors Society and awarded the President’s Award for Academic Excellence as a Freshman and the Elizabeth Luster award for Excellence in Political Science. He spent a semester interning in the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the Office of the Republican Party Leader.. During Law School, Attorney Gordon interned with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office and was awarded the Center for Forensic Economic Studies award for Excellence in Litigation.  Upon graduating law school, he was sworn in as Assistant District Attorney for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office where he successfully prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases in all of the county’s five district courts and was appointed to the county’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit.. After serving as an associate with a criminal defense law firm, Attorney Gordon created The Law Offices of Nicolas A. Gordon, Esq.  Over the years, he has successfully represented clients accused of myriad charges in many of the Commonwealth’s District and Superior Courts.  He has also represented clients in administrative law proceedings appearing before the United States Department of Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals.
