Dan Peel graduated in 1989 from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.  He received the American Jurisprudence Award for Appellate Argument.  Mr. Peel received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in history from the University of Memphis in 1985.  He was a Cecil C. Humphreys Presidential Scholar and a member of Phi Kappa Phi.. Mr. Peel is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Tennessee and Texas and in federal courts for the Western District of Tennessee and Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.  He is also admitted in the Fifth and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.  Mr. Peel is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.  He worked for two of the largest firms in Dallas - Locke Purnell Rain Harrell (now Locke Lord) and Haynes and Boone - before returning to Memphis, his hometown, in 1998.

His practice is also concentrated in business and commercial litigation, product liability, governmental tort liability, insurance coverage, insurance defense and workers’ compensation.. Chris graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee Martin with a bachelor’s degree in history. He obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was Publications Editor of the Tennessee Law Review and was recognized with the Editor-in-Chief’s award. He has achieved an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.. Away from the office, Chris serves on the board of S.O.S. Memphis, an urban home repair ministry that transforms inner city neighborhoods. He also coaches his kids’ sports teams and volunteers with the youth group at his church with his wife, Elizabeth.

Being the son of one of the most respected trial lawyers in Memphis, I knew that I too wanted to be a trial lawyer from a very early age. In my professional career, I have specialized in trial work and have had the opportunity to try lawsuits in Federal Court, Immigration Court, General Sessions (both civil and criminal) Court, Chancery Court, Criminal Court, and Circuit Court.. I handle all types of trial work  including criminal defense, personal injury, immigration, contract disputes, and business litigation.. Although I was born and raised in Memphis, I learned Spanish as a second language while I was in college. After obtaining my license to practice law, I have been blessed with the opportunity to represent the Hispanic community in the Memphis area.
