This video gives a little story about me, it was part of the Wisconsin Law Journal Leaders in the Law  Program.

My wife, Ann, and I have three children, twin daughters (UW-Madison graduates) and a son, and we reside in Mequon.  I am also a Certified Public Accountant (Wisconsin, 1987 - present).  Besides my law practice, I enjoy various sports including fishing, golf, tennis, softball, hiking, and skiing.

Maureen L. O'Leary is the owner of O'Leary-Guth Law Office, S.C., located in Thiensville, Wisconsin (Ozaukee County).. Maureen practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, probate, trust administration, real estate, business, accounting, and taxation.  Maureen has significant experience with complex business, trust, and estate issues, and she frequently represents business owners in corporate planning, sales and acquisitions, dispute resolution, succession planning and tax planning.  Maureen also prepares estate, gift, and income tax returns, with a focus on fiduciary and business income tax returns.Maureen received her Juris Doctor degree with honors from Marquette University Law School in 2008.  Prior to law school, Maureen began her career in the business world, as a shareholder and Operations Manager of a local company, where she helped turn one location into a national franchise.  Maureen is licensed to practice in all Wisconsin State Courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.  Maureen is a member of the Ozaukee County Bar Association and the Milwaukee Bar Association.  Maureen routinely presents trust, estate and business related presentations to professional groups.  She is also an active member of the Thiensville-Mequon Rotary Club and the Mequon/Thiensville Chamber of Commerce.

I was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. My father died when I had just turned 5 and my sister was 3. This left me with a profound respect for how hard my mother, a single parent worked.. Further, it gave me a respect for how much a good mother, and a good father can mean to a child. I graduated from Thomas More High School ( I was the mascot one year hurray). I received my B.B.A degree (finance) from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School.. I was the managing editor for the Wisconsin Law Review. My wife is a nurse practitioner and we have three children. I enjoy my children’s activities, riding my Harley Davidson and helping people obtain the best outcome in what can be difficult situations.

I concentrate on representing the interests of. secured and unsecured creditors in relation to secured. transactions and in bankruptcy proceedings. My. practice includes the assertion of reclamation and. administrative claims, preference claim defense, relief. from stay actions to protect real and personal property. collateral and pursuing adequate protection of. payments.

I am a trial lawyer—spending my career shaping and developing trial my trials in the criminal and civil arena. I am a former prosecutor, so I know how the system works from the inside, which gives my client’s a distinct advantage. Having previously worked as an Assistant District Attorney and an Assistant City Attorney in Milwaukee, I know the criminal justice system, the courts, and the police, allowing me to quickly identify the issues any case.. I have been lead counsel on hundreds of jury trials, both at the State and Federal level.. However, at times, negotiating a settlement is the right course of action. I have tried and won cases ranging from first-degree intentional homicide to disorderly conduct. I have successfully argued to protect constitutional rights and have engineered favorable results for clients in all aspects of litigation. I am a two time winner of the Martin Hanson Memorial Prize, awarded by the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Doug Blegen is a business, tax, and estate planning lawyer who also has experience as a litigator.  His practice focuses on the needs of closely-held businesses and professional practices, and of their principals.  This includes determining and creating the appropriate structure; negotiating and drafting partnership and shareholder agreements, employment agreements, and transactional documents; and providing counsel regarding business acquisitions and divestitures, as well as tax and estate planning.. Conor Leedom is a senior associate attorney and a member of the Axley Brynelson LLP’s Business Practice Group. He focuses his practice on drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts; business organization and formation; mergers and acquisitions; and real estate including sales and acquisitions, leasing and development, real estate financing, condominium establishment and governance, and land use matters. Attorney Therese M. Henke's practice is exclusively family law, with an emphasis in divorce cases: both traditional (litigation) and collaborative (both parties hire lawyers but avoid court).  She also practices private and court ordered facilitative mediation and evaluative mediation in legal custody and physical placement disputes. Over the last 29 years as a court appointed mediator in Ozaukee County, she has mediated over 872 cases. She also accepts guardian ad litem appointments in pending and post-judgment family law cases; she will conduct a thorough investigation and make a recommendation as to what she believes is in the child's/children's best interest. She is also a Supplemental Court Commissioner conducting supplemental hearings.  She is also the Mediation Coordinator in Washington County managing the Family Court Services mediation program.
