In 2017, David was elected to the International Association of Arson Investigators' (IAAI) Board of Directors for the 2017-2020 term. In his new leadership position, David and other subject matter experts from around the world will work to ensure the IAAI’s role as Global Leaders in Fire Investigation®. He is an IAAI-CFI® and International Association of Arson Investigators Certified Instructor (IAAI-CI®).. David also serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and National Fire Academy (NFA).
