While attending law school, he clerked for Montgomery Circuit Court Judge Roman Shaul, and worked at the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office. Upon passing the Alabama Bar, Garrett clerked for the Presiding Judge of Jefferson County, Judge Elisabeth French.. Garrett moved to Mobile, Alabama and began working with Greene & Phillips in 2021.
