Scott T. McArdle is a 1996 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and was honored to be selected to serve Justice H. Mr. Love has significant experience in all facets of civil and commercial litigation, with his primary focus on defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice matters.  J C has assisted clients on complex legal matters ranging from premises liability, products liability, corporate law, and estate and probate matters, as well as, matters of municipal finance and real estate.. Mr. Love graduated cum laude from Morehouse College where he served as student government president, student trustee, and a charter member of the college’s Omicron Delta Kappa circle.  J C received his law degree from Boston College Law School where he participated in the law school’s civil litigation clinic and served as a research assistant.. Prior to joining Rushton Stakely, J C practiced Georgia and served on boards overseeing vehicles for hire, procurement, and the issuing of alcohol licenses for the City of Atlanta.  He also served as a board member to Invest Atlanta, Atlanta’s official economic development agency, and its Finance Committee and supported incentives to lure Porsche to locate its North American headquarters in Atlanta and voted in favor of using the city’s hotel/motel tax to finance the new football stadium.

Mary Pool is a shareholder of Bond, Botes, Shinn & Donaldson, P.C. Mary has a unique background in finance in that she has 25 years of experience in the financial industry including a national bank. She worked in various departments during these years, including marketing, loan product management, conversions and acquisitions, loan servicing and project management. In 2004, Mary decided to leave banking and become an attorney. She started law school at Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law in Montgomery. Her goal was always to find a position that was able to use her financial background for the better and that led her to her work family at Bond, Botes, Shinn & Donaldson, P.C. Mary cares about every person that walks in her office and enjoys assisting her clients from intake to discharge in their bankruptcy process.. Mary primarily practices bankruptcy law, chapter 13 and chapter 7. She also helps clients with their social security appeals if they are denied social security. She has represented thousands of clients over the past 11 years.. Mary was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. Both her mother and father were born in Virginia as well so she still has family there. Mary’s father was in the Army so they moved around a lot until she was 7 when her father transferred to Anniston, Alabama. She went to high school in Saks and most of her family still lives in the Anniston area. In the early 90s, Mary moved to Montgomery and she has called it home ever since.
