While serving as an ADA I successfully prosecuted many high profile criminal cases. In 1987 I entered the private practice of law and litigated hundreds of cases. In 1998 I mediated my first case and I decided to devote my entire practice to that of mediation. I have now mediated over 3000 cases throughout Alabama and surrounding states.. I have been married to Edith James since 1981. We have two children, Lauren and Will.
