My practice looks to find strategic solutions to problems and to employ the legal tools available to achieve those goals.  I represent a wide variety of clients with private disputes, regulatory issues, probate matters, and municipal issues.

I came to the law as a second career, after the end of my first marriage.  I entered law school, knowing that I wanted to practice Family Law.  I enjoy the interaction with people in times of upheaval.  I came to bankruptcy because it often goes hand in hand with divorce, and I wanted to be a source of "one stop shopping."  My bankruptcy practice has grown over the years, and it is a practice area that I've grown to love.. I'm family oriented, and love the central Vermont community.  I live with my husband and two naughty dogs.

After 17 years practicing in both the public and private sectors in Vermont, I have opened my own law practice with a primary focus on employment and labor law.  My goals are simple:  to provide exceptional legal services to individuals and organizations with unsurpassed responsiveness and personal attention.  Each client will have my personal dedication and focus, something too often lost in larger firms.  Developing relationships with clients allows me to become a passionate advocate.  A thorough knowledge of my client's background or organizational structure and goals positions me well to advise a client and guide clients through litigation.  As a trial lawyer with extensive jury and bench trial experience, a client can be assured that I can take a case from start through to trial.  I strive to inspire complete confidence and peace of mind - a knowledgeable partner and ally in guiding my clients through the complexities of labor and employment related legal matters.
