I’m Tara! I’ve worked here a few years; because of our growth needs and my dynamic skill set, I’ve worked in every position possible at Lion Legal Services! Litigation Attorney, Supervising Attorney, Ad Litem, Front Office, Back Office…you name it, I’ve done it. I’m great in any position, but my favorite is plain ‘ole attorney, practicing Ad Litem, estate planning, and domestic litigation work.. I spent most of my working years at Rivendell Behavioral Health and Pathfinder, Inc (before and after law school); my work experience with those less fortunate, combined with my social worker heart and love for details is the perfect skill set in high-emotion cases. Most cases should not go to trial simply because there is a reasonable resolution to preserve the relationships which exist long after the case is over…but when they do, I’m your girl! I’m the perfect blend of feisty, clever, and smart and an active member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. I know my way around a courtroom and I love my clients, working through their issues, cultivating a legal strategy and taking it all the way to the end in a trial, where my competitive streak completely overpowers my naturally empathetic disposition.. I grew up in Bauxite (no Saline County jokes, please), have family in Northwest Arkansas and settled in North Pulaski County. I have four daughters (yes, I know); two sets of twins. No one knows first hand the stress of child-rearing more than I do! My personal co-parenting and vast professional experiences working with behavioral disorders and developmental disabilities provide a unique understanding, which helps me help others find great, long-lasting, solutions to their legal issues.. The purpose and mission of Lion Legal Services, really speak to me. I helped develop them over the last few years and I love working here because we genuinely live this commitment to making reasonable legal advice affordable for Working Arkansans. Sometimes people get me and Tori mixed up (Tara and Tori, I can see how that happens); when you get to know us better you won’t. I’m Kristy – born and raised in the Arkansas Delta. My parents are from Aberdeen and Humphrey, two miniscule towns that if you blink while driving past, you’ll miss them. I’m the first attorney in my extended family as far back as anyone can remember. We were raised up with the belief that we only hire lawyers as an absolute last case scenario because they were so cost-prohibitive. It’s sort of like going to any place that doesn’t list prices – if you have to ask, you can’t really afford them, right? That’s one of the reasons I’m happy to work at Lion Legal. We provide flat rate fees for a variety of services, so you know what you’re going to pay without even having to pick up the phone (and give everybody your life’s story.). My grandparents were a huge part of my life. I was at their house every chance I got, reading on the porch swing, playing in the dirt, or riding around looking at the cows. They instilled deep Southern Baptist values in me that I’ll always carry. We treat people right, we love everybody, and we pray for a whole list of folks every night.. My grandmother was the best person I’ll ever know. Mary B (the B stood for a name she hated, so I’ll leave it out lest she smite me) taught me so much, but most importantly, to always stick up for those that don’t have somebody to help them. We were raised to do what’s right and to help those who need it, and that’s a big part of why I became a lawyer.. Among many other things, she was the best negotiator I’ve ever seen, and I’m proud to say those genes passed straight through to me. I wish y’all could’ve seen her. It’s a shame she wasn’t an attorney herself, but fortunately I learned a ton from her, and love using those skills to help whoever I can.. I understand the struggles a lot of people in Arkansas face because I’ve faced those same struggles. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon, I wasn’t related to anyone that I could name-drop to get a job or get out of trouble, and we were definitely the poor relations on every side of the family. This is why I love working here – we cater to Working Arkansans who need help and come from a background similar to mine. You don’t have to be rich for us to help you, you don’t have to know somebody, you just show up and we’ll roar to your rescue.. I had a pretty great childhood that fostered a love of learning, an intuitiveness of right and wrong, and I thrived on figuring out how to move gray areas to a place that benefits people I care about. I think any kid with dirt under their feet and a little freedom is enjoying life, and that segued into a well-rounded adulthood.. I’m married to a pretty great guy that I met in high school band and we have the self-titled Best Kid in the World – although we’re hitting those teenage years and we may snatch that title from him yet. I want to leave a legacy for him like the one my family left for me – of fairness, of Christian values, of helping people that need a hand. His childhood is a lot like mine was–he loves to read, but also loves to romp around outside with various animals. He’s a wild child and loves the country life.. We still live in the Delta, and although we’ve moved a little North and a little West, I still live within an hour’s drive of the place I called home for 30 years. We have a random assortment of animals—I guess I never quite did learn to let go of a farm—but even though we’re up early and asleep late with running our son to what feels like every sport in the world (and band, the same one his daddy and I met in), making sure our ducks and rabbits and all our other animals are happy, and hanging out with our two favorite little girls ever (our nieces), I wouldn’t change a thing.. Hi. I’m Zoë! I’m originally from Washington state, born and raised. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). We moved to Arkansas for me to attend law school and loved it! I’ve graduated, married, bought a house, found a job, have dogs and cats and a baby soon. We love southern living and my husband and I are here to stay.. Before law school and even college, I had several jobs including packing and storing apples at an apple warehouse, grocery store clerk, lifeguard, and swim instructor. I’m from Yakima, Washington, which is primarily known for its agriculture, hops, and wineries. With that, there were, and still are, a ton of less fortunate, underrepresented people in the town who need legal services. I guess that comes with every city, huh? That’s how I found my love for becoming an attorney and off I went. To get on track for law school, I majored in Criminal Justice and Criminology with minors in Political Science and Psychology. I’ve always stayed busy and involved, as I was Scholarship Chairwoman and on the board of Academics for Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Beta Sigma chapter. In addition, I participated in a $1,000,000 research project in the Criminal Justice Department at Washington State University.. While in law school, I clerked at several different places and gained substantial experience in criminal defense, family law, property law, social security disability, and even some personal injury law. I’ve found great love in criminal defense and family law, which is why I am the perfect fit for the Lion Legal Services team. I am outgoing, ambitious, and strong-willed. Hi, I’m Paige! I’m a Pine Bluff native turned Little Rock transplant. As a first-generation immigrant on my dad’s side, I’m no stranger to struggle. However, if there is anything that my upbringing has taught me, it’s that, even in the face of adversity, hard work and determination go a long way. I live by this mindset, and I know that it, along with my desire to help others, led me to my calling of being an attorney. My strong work ethic means no matter what I’m doing – personally or professionally – I’m always prepared and out work my opponent.. My journey to becoming an attorney began at William H. Bowen School of Law, where I discovered my passion for civil and domestic litigation (among other things). After graduating in the top quarter of my class, my first position was in a small firm focusing on real estate litigation and complex estate planning, before joining Lion Legal where I continue my real estate/complex civil litigation and estate planning practice, but expanded my practice to include my first law school love – domestic litigation.. Today, my practice looks exactly as I imagined in law school. That is, spending my days (and sometimes nights and weekends) protecting the rights of everyday folks and fellow Arkansans in the areas of law that are closest to the heart.

Hey y’all, I’m Jessie. And may I just say, it is great to say “y’all” again! I recently moved back to Arkansas after six years in the Missouri Midwest. I graduated from University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law in 2021, where I was on the Dean’s List, competed in appellate court competitions, Law Income Tax Clinic, the Sports Law Society, the Emissary Program, and the Mentor Program. After passing the bar exam, I hung by shingles and opened my own practice in rural Northwest Missouri. I spent two years in general practice and was elected Prosecutor of Mercer County Missouri during that time.Ultimately though, there is no place like home, so in the spring of 2024 that is just where I returned. I am excited to learn how to serve clients in even more areas under the tutelage of the Lion Legal leadership.Before going to law school, I was (and still am!) a true-blue Arkansas chick. I was raised in Little Rock, then went to University of Arkansas at Fayetteville on a swimming & diving scholarship. I majored in Criminal Justice & Sociology, with minors in Legal Studies and Social Work.Though I am no longer a student athlete, I still love to compete in whatever venue tickles my fancy. Lately that has been mixed martial arts and running, but nowhere does that competitive edge kick in more than when advocating for my clients.“Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready” is my moto, so clients can trust me when I say that I will always be prepared to zealously represent their interests at every stage of the case.It is good to be home, and I am so excited to serve my neighbors!
