She was a Finalist in Seattle University's Tausend Moot Court Competition in 2013 and went on to represent Seattle University in the National Moot Court Competition Regional Competition in 2014. She was an extern for the Honorable Stephen J. Dwyer in Division I of the Washington Court of Appeals in 2014. She received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Consumer Law and Remedies. She co-founded and presided over the Food Integrity Coalition at Seattle University during her time there. She also participated in Seattle University's Pro Bono Pledge Program, completing over 100 hours of pro bono legal service during her law school attendence, and received a Public Interest Law Foundation grant in 2012 for her work in consumer protection.
