After college, I returned home to attend Tulane University Law School. I met my husband in New Orleans and we in Mid-City with our two daughters and cat.. While there, I learned the in's and out's of divorce and family law and represented clients at the district court, appellate court, and the Louisiana Supreme Court level.. I believe in the efficiency and effectiveness of collaborative divorce and mediation. I think that an agreement prepared by the parties will leave them more satisfied than an order rendered by a judge who doesn't know the couple or their children. However, I recognize that collaboration and mediation don't fit the needs of every couple or family.. When it comes to litigation, I think that attorneys should be zealous advocates first, but reasonable negotiators when appropriate. I think that attorneys should answer their client's questions promptly and honestly.
