I am a fantastic attorney. My rating is misleading. I was disciplined by the state bar. However the circumstances were exigent and I had to choose between a client’s urgent needs or my possible discipline. In 2004 I submitted my proof of my continuing education to the State Bar. Before I received confirmation that they had approved my proof, I was notified that there was an emergency Summary Judgment hearing in my firm the next morning. I was the only attorney could make the appearance. I appeared and prevailed in the case. The opposing counsel reported me to the State Bar for appearing in court before my continuing education was approved. They were approved a day after the hearing. Never-the-less, two-years after the incident, in 2006, I was suspended for 30-Days.. I have a great family with a wife and three kids. I have law offices in Newport Beach and Salt Lake City. I run half-marathons with my wife and 14-year old daughter. We spend most of our vacation time in National Parks to hike.
