Michael and his wife, Laura, met at Ohio Wesleyan University, and have been married since 1987.  They have three children, and their eldest son graduated from Ohio Wesleyan.. Jonathan was born in New York and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. After seven years practicing law in Georgia, he moved to Richmond from Atlanta with his wife, Sydney.
