The Governor of Virginia recently appointed me to the Virginia Port Authority Board of Commissioners.

In 2017, he won judgment in a federal franchise trial, defeating ten counts and prevailing on a multi-million dollar counterclaim. Darius Davenport focuses primarily on complex commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts with an emphasis on insurance defense, railroad, admiralty, maritime, public sector and employment law. As a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Mr. Davenport represents businesses across the region as well as local housing authorities. As a part of the firm’s Employment Law Group, Mr. Davenport provides counsel to local municipalities on various employment and other legal matters. His work includes defending organizations against suits in local courts, presenting annual training for staff, and providing legal opinions to management on a wide range of legal issues. Mr. Davenport also has significant experience handling government administrative law matters including ethics, FOIA, Privacy law, fiscal law, environmental law, standards of conduct, and adverse administrative actions. As a former government attorney, he has experience drafting regulations and policies and has provided legal advice and counsel to senior government officials on a myriad of legal issues.

Amy’s practice focuses on construction litigation, creditors’ rights, and insurance defense, including insurance coverage defense.  Her experience extends to admiralty and maritime claims, railroad matters, and eminent domain litigation.  She also handles cases at the appellate level, having briefed multiple cases for argument before the Virginia Supreme Court.  Amy is licensed in Virginia and Georgia.
