Leland, District Chief Judge (retired) of the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in Pittsburgh. I then spent over 12 years handling federal black lung claims from inception through the appellate process, including appeals to the Benefits Review Board and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.. Deciding I needed a change, I started working in the appellate department of OBL in 2017, where I use my background in administrative proceedings to advocate for individuals seeking Social Security Disabilty benefits in federal district courts across the country.

In 2014, Hannalore and her family moved to Pittsburgh after a ten-year tenure in the Navy while her husband was an officer in the submarine force.
