After graduation, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable James N. Citta, J.S.C.  Before opening his own boutique practice, he was an associate with Shackleton & Hazeltine, located in Long Beach Island, a partner at Widman Cooney Wilson McGann & Fitterer, in Oakhurst, and more recently, a partner at McOmber McOmber & Luber, in Red Bank.. Mr. Fitterer has successfully litigated on the behalf of individuals, small businesses and national corporations.  He has substantial experience litigating contract disputes, consumer fraud claims and has defended various licensed professionals against professional malpractice claims.  In addition to litigation, Mr. Fitterer practices extensively in the transactional and business side of the legal industry, where he has served as counsel to storage facility operators, defense contractors, multi-office real estate brokerage firms, dental, orthodontic, ophthalmologic and orthotist-prosthetist offices throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.. Completing over one hundred fifty residential and commercial real estate transactions a year, Mr. Fitterer provides experienced representation to both Buyers and Sellers through each phase of the transaction.  As a complement to his real estate practice, Edmund also handles wills, probate administration, bankruptcy and other services to serve the needs of his valued clients.  In that regard, he has been able to keep his practice varied yet efficient and has proven able to provide the individualized service the firm’s clients deserve.
