RON MEYERS & ASSOCIATES PLLC has been representing individuals and families for personal Injury and wrongful death since 1983. We represent people who are seriously injured as a result of the negligent conduct of others. We also represent family members for the catastrophic harm caused by the wrongful deaths of spouses, parents and children.

My practice focuses on construction law, real estate disputes, and timber trespass.  I have experience representing homeowners, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, community associations and other interested parties in construction defect, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation matters in both Federal and State Courts.. I grew up in Shelton, Washington and now live in the Olympia area with my wife, two young children, and two dogs.  My interests outside of work include skiing, running, hiking/backpacking and exploring the PNW in my 1973 VW Westfalia.

I am an Olympia native and Capital High School graduate.  I have practiced law in Olympia since graduating from Lewis and Clark law school in 1996.  In law school, I focused on land use, environmental, real property and contract law.. I am also Vice-President of the Board for Harlequin Productions and have been a volunteer and sometime assistant coach for the Capital High School speech and debate team.. My work team includes my principal land use paralegal, Doreen Milward, who was trained in land use by Sandy Mackie, of Owens Davies Mackie, who was the premier land use attorney in southwest Washington until departure from the firm.

I am a licensed Washington, Oregon and Alaska attorney based out of Olympia, Washington.  I am also a member of the Guam Bar Association since 1997 and the Minnesota State Bar since 1999.. My practice areas are related primarily related to construction, timber, and earth work issues.  I also do personal and property injury cases.  Prior to attending law school I worked as a design architect, construction critical path method scheduler, and as a superintendent/field engineer for a large international general contractor.

From 1995 until 2002, Lenny served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Broward County (Florida) Public Defenders Office representing clients in criminal cases. Lenny has served as lead counsel representing both juveniles and adults charged with felonies and misdemeanors and has participated in more than 100 judge and jury trials. Lenny has served as a Guardian ad Litem and Juvenile Mediator, ensuring that the rights of children in dependency and criminal matters were protected. Lenny also serves as a Judge Pro-Tempore in Thurston County District Court and presides over civil and criminal matters.. Lenny is currently the Secretary of the Thurston County Bar Association Board of Directors and is a member of the Ukrainian American Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association. Lenny has been named a "Rising Star" lawyer by Washington Law & Politics in 2005 and 2006 and has received recognition from the Washington Satate Bar Association for his pro-bono work in the community every year since 2007.

Chuck Szurszewski has been practicing family law in the Olympia area since 1978. His experience includes managing the Olympia Division of Child Support and heading up the Thurston County Prosecutor's Office Child Support Section. Chuck has been with our firm since 1987, representing individuals in dissolution, modification, custody and child support cases. He is an experienced mediator as well as a litigator. He has served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem in over 200 cases. He has been a member of the Family Law Executive Committee for ten years and was the chair in 2014. He served  on the governor's task force on child support.   He has the highest rating on Martindale Hubbell and AVVO. He has been a presenter at continuing educations every year for the last ten years.
