I am a lobbyist, advocating for clients before the Washington state legislature and state agencies.  I specialize in health care and social service clients, and have previous experience practicing law on behalf of health care providers in litigation, transactional, and compliance matters.  I also teach "Law, Medicine and Ethics at the End of Life" as adjunct faculty at Seattle University Law School.

From 1995 until 2002, Lenny served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Broward County (Florida) Public Defenders Office representing clients in criminal cases. Lenny has served as lead counsel representing both juveniles and adults charged with felonies and misdemeanors and has participated in more than 100 judge and jury trials. Lenny has served as a Guardian ad Litem and Juvenile Mediator, ensuring that the rights of children in dependency and criminal matters were protected. Lenny also serves as a Judge Pro-Tempore in Thurston County District Court and presides over civil and criminal matters.. Chuck Szurszewski has been practicing family law in the Olympia area since 1978. His experience includes managing the Olympia Division of Child Support and heading up the Thurston County Prosecutor's Office Child Support Section. Chuck has been with our firm since 1987, representing individuals in dissolution, modification, custody and child support cases. He is an experienced mediator as well as a litigator. He has served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem in over 200 cases. He has been a member of the Family Law Executive Committee for ten years and was the chair in 2014.
