Shaun has focused her legal career primarily in the areas of real estate acquisition, financing and development, and property tax valuation, and in the formation and counseling of small and new business operations. Prior to entering the practice of law in 1998, Shaun was an administrative professional in the non-profit arts industry serving the greater Omaha metropolitan area. Her experience in the non-profit industry provided her with unique opportunities to work with city, county, state and federal officials and agencies, as well as key members of the business community.. Shaun is an active community volunteer. She served on the board of directors of the Friends of the Omaha Public Library from 2000 to 2010, including terms as president, secretary and membership chair. She has been a volunteer with the Nebraska Humane Society since 2005, working 8 to 10 hours a week assisting the NHS veterinarians and medical staff with the medical care of animals.

Jeanne began her career working in the real estate and contracts world as in-house counsel in the insurance and financial services industries. She has been licensed in Iowa since 2008 and Nebraska since 2016.. Jeanne was a member of the 2017-2018 Nebraska Bar Leadership Academy and is an active member of both the Nebraska and Iowa bars. She has served on the Board of Nebraska AIDS Project since 2020 and was the Treasurer of the Board for the organization in 2022..
