Fellow attorneys gave Susan an AV rating, identifying her as an attorney with high to preeminent legal ability. A former adjunct professor at Creighton University School of Law, Susan now teaches at the Nebraska State Bar AssociationLeadership Academy. She was awarded the Outstanding Contributor to Women and the Law Award from the Women and Law Section of the NSBA and was inducted as a Fellow in the Nebraska State Bar Foundation for her exemplary service to the law.. Susan serves her community beyond the legal profession. She serves as a Trustee for the Business Ethics Alliance and volunteers for Nebraska AIDS Project. She is a recipient of the Spirit of Women Foundation Award, the Sarpy County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) Power of One Award, and the Nebraska Association of Social Workers Citizen of the Year Award.. Susan is a summa cum laude graduate of Drake University and a received her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. She studied under the renowned master coach, Dr. Maria Nemeth, and is a graduate of the Academy for Coaching Excellence in Sacramento, California.. Susan would love to become a centenarian. To that end, she enjoys hosting parties for friends, reading (with a penchant for neuroscience), eating kale, and dancing.

Deziree has lived in Nebraska most of her life. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology which provided her with an essential foundation for helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives and sparking her interest in the legal field. Prior to graduating from the Nebraska College of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2016, Deziree was as a senior-certified law student and participated in the law school’s Family Law Clinic, both of which gave her practical experience in handling real cases for real people. These opportunities solidified her desire to help families through the legal process.. Deziree spends her time out of the office with her dog, friends, and family while cheering on her favorite sports teams.
